Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.
Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
