The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of heroes who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
